Fox Soccer Plus A Good Move
On Monday, it was revealed that News Corp would be launching a second all soccer channel known as Fox Soccer Plus.
With Setanta North America failing to meet its sub license agreements with FOX, the need for another channel arose. Premier League and Champions League matches sub-licensed to Setanta North America.
The new channel will be in HD and will feature Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and Serie A matches. The Italian League has recently lacked the exposure in this country that it once had via GOL TV and the successful runs of Serie A clubs in European competition. This season, Serie A has been for my money in the top three most interesting leagues in Europe (along with the Premier League and Bundesliga), and more Serie A matches means the viewer wins.
The biggest winner in all this could be Serie A fans, who will see far more matches than previously available in the US market.

This is great. Everyone needs to contact their TV provider now and tell them you want this channel. Fans must talk with their money!
