Kartik and Richard on Inside the Six
Kartik and I did my podcast, Inside the Six, last night. We talked extensively about the U.S. Men’s National Team ahead of the next pair of qualifiers, but the topic quickly stretched to something Kartik alluded to earlier today on this site and on Major League Soccer Talk:
The United States is nowhere near safe, and there are a couple of very viable scenarios where-by the United States finishes fourth in the hex, gets matched-up with a South American nation in the playoff, and misses out on South Africa. If we seem to harp on it during the podcast, it’s because we don’t want the USMNT’s plight to take anybody by surprise.
